Automation Engineer
Process Controls /PLC programming/Control Panel
Responsibilities for the Automation Engineer
Control system design, and PLC / HMI programming
Control panel layouts and designs, drawing wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
Process controls layouts and packaging system control designs, including PID loops, analog inputs, motor controls / MCC's, and DCS systems
Design and implement process network infrastructure (Ethernet, Device Net, Control Net, etc)
Assist in the installation, start up and comissioning on site
Approx. 50% hardware design and 50% software programming. (Rockwell / Allen-Bradley products typically.)
